Teddie Windel Pegues Jr., 34, from Longview, Texas, passed away on October 2, 2025. He was born on June 18, 1991, to his loving parents, Tangela Harper and Teddie Pegues.
Teddie was a devoted husband and a proud father of five beautiful children Ariana, Teddie, Natal’ya, Neah and Hazel who were the light of his life. He worked hard to provide for his
family and lived with a sense of purpose that was felt by everyone around him.
He had a passion for fitness and loved going to the gym, not just to stay strong physically, but because it brought him peace, focus, and discipline. He carried himself with a serious strength, yet those who knew him best treasured the rare moments when he would smile—because when he did, he lit up the entire room.
Teddie will be remembered for his determination, and his deep love for his family. He had a quiet but powerful presence—one that made people feel safe, respected, and understood.
He is survived by his parents, his wife, his five children, and a host of family members and friends who will carry his memory forward with love and honor.
A funeral service will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services conclude at the end of the evening. Family and friends are welcome to attend to honor his life and legacy.
