Ing. Noé González Lira

Ing. Noe Gonzalez Lira, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Solara Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Noe Gonzalez Lira was a prominent farmer, politician, and social activist for the human rights of migrants abroad. He graduated from the Autonomous University of Chapingo and was a Toro Salvaje at heart.

He is preceded in death by his father Refugio Gonzalez, daughter Sonia Stephanie Gonzalez Rojo, and brother Mario Gonzalez.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Sonia Adelina Gloria Gonzalez, mother Angela Lira, sons Noe Guillermo Gonzalez Rojo and Noe Fernando Gonzalez Rojo, and sister Graciela Quiroz.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. from 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025 and recitation of the Holy Rosary at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services conclude at the end of the evening.
