Rosalinda Carrisales, 59, of Brownsville, TX, devoted mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Brownsville Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on April 16 1965.
Rosalinda was known for her warm spirit and infectious laughter, which brought joy to all who knew her. Rosalinda cherished every moment spent with her family, particularly her precious daughter, as well as her nieces and nephews, who were the light of her life.
She was a devoted friend, who loved to gather with her close companions to play Loteria, a game that brought her immense joy and created lasting memories. Her vibrant personality and generous heart will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Rosalinda leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished moments that will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jose Andres Carrisales, and her mother Maria Marcos Carrisales.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Dora Lily Carrisales; her siblings Rodolfo Carrizales (Yolanda Carrizales), Rosa Maria Carrisales, Ruben Carrizales (Maricela Carrizales), and Alicia Trevino (Ronnie Trevino); her nieces and nephews, Rodolfo Carrizales Jr, Cynthia Alejandra Carrizales, Marco Antonio Carrizales, Alyssa Renee Trevino, Ronnie Trevino Jr, Andrew Ruben Carrizales, and Anthony Rian Carrizales.
Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025 with recitation of the Holy Rossary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 and a chapel service is to take place at 10 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Serving as pallbearers, Ronnie Trevino, Rodolfo Carrizales Jr., Marco Antonio Carrizales, Ronnie Trevino Jr., Andrew Ruben Carrizales, and Anthony Rian Carrizales. Serving as honorary pallbearers, Cynthia Alejandra Carrizales and Alyssa Renee Trevino.
