Florencia Gutierrez

Florencia Gutierrez, resident of Brownsville, Texas devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered eternal rest on Thursday, December, 26, 2024 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on February 22,1962.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Raul Gutierrez Sr., Carolina Salinas, Brothers Joe Gutierrez, David Gutierrez, Israel Gutierrez, Raul Gutierrez Jr, Danny Gutierrez one sister Linda Gutierrez and two children David and Alex and one granddaughter Kisha Lee Gomez.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 30 years David Guerrero; her children Veronica Sanchez (Ricardo Sanchez), Melissa Ibarra (Raul Ibarra), and Juan Carlos Ramirez; her grandchildren Brandon Ibarra, Edwin Ibarra, Laysha Ibarra, Ashley Sanchez, Ricardo Sanchez Jr, Sophia Sanchez, Dyanida Ramirez, Juan Carlos Ramirez Jr, Leonor Ramirez, and Justine Alexis Drewett; and her siblings Armando Gutierrez, Freddy Salinas, Martha Salinas, and Elida Salinas. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024 with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. to Guillen Community Cemetery.

    Flora’s Family,

    My deepest sympathy to David and all of Flora’s family. Flora was a beautiful person, (era muy amable) her kindness will never be forgotten.
