Francisco C. Medrano, of Mexico, devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 29, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 28, 1952.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Aurora Medrano, brother Gabriel, and sister Leticia.
His legacy is carried on by his children Iris Victoria (Medellin), Perla Aurora (Martinez), Cynthia (Espinoza), Nadia, Drisa, Francisco, Jr, Julia Dorina (Tamez), Jesus Julian, Erika Jeanette (Alvear) and 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Francisco “Güero” was the eldest of his family and known for his larger than life personality and sense of humor. He was a man of the sea who captained multiple vessels throughout the Gulf of Mexico where he will also be laid to rest.
A private religious ceremony will be held on Thursday, December 19th, at the United in Christ Ministry, Worldwide, Inc. at 7 PM. He will be honored with a sea burial on Friday, December 20th, 2024 at 9 AM, fulfilling his wish to find eternal peace in the place he loved most—the ocean.
