Humberto Salinas Jr., 66, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Diaz Ordaz, Tamaulipas, Mexico on June 6, 1958.
He is preceded in death by his parents Humberto and Nicolasa Salinas, his son Hugo Ivan Salinas.
Left to cherish his memory is his spouse Eglantina Salinas; his children Humberto Salinas III (Corina Alfaro), grandchildren Sebastian Antonio Salinas, Santiago Adrian Salinas, Sahir Alezzandro Salinas, Carolina Amary Salinas; brothers and sisters Eglantina Rocha (Guadalupe Rocha), Juan Salinas (Amelia Salinas), Norma Garces (Eduardo Garces), Miguel Salinas (Claudia Salinas)
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2024, with recitation of The Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024, with a Funeral Mass scheduled at 10:00 a.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church. Interment is to follow at 11:00 a.m. to Buena Vista Burial Park.
