Francisco Galvan Jr., 68, devoted father, grandfather, and friend, entered eternal rest on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Valley Regional Medical Center Brownsville, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville, TX, on November 02, 1955.
He is preceded in death by his mother Irma Solitaire.
Left to cherish his memory is his father Francisco Galvan Sr., niece Vanessa Garza; his children Damian Galvan (Christine Galvan), Monica Galvan, Cynthia Hill (David Hill+), Joshua Galvan (Angie), Andrea Rasco (Michael); his 6 grandkids Natalil Galvan, Damian Galvan, Madison Galvan, Ellie Galvan, Brielle Rasco, and Ryder Rasco.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, with recitation of The Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, with a Funeral Mass scheduled at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church. Interment is to follow at 3:00 p.m. to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
