Victor Manuel Castañeda, 66, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted son, brother, uncle and friend, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Sunshine Haven, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on October 31, 1957.
Victor Manuel Castañeda was the biggest Dallas Cowboy Fan and he loved Tejano music.
He is preceded in death by his father Armando L. Castañeda and his nephew Josh Castañeda.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother Ofelia O. Castaneda, and his five siblings Irasema Garza, Armando Castañeda Jr., Jaime Castañeda, Alma Zapata, and Jorge Castañeda.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, with recitation of The Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 with a chapel service scheduled at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment is to follow at 11:00 a.m. to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

My Condolences to the Castaneda Family, Victor was a good friend which we hang out and his family treated me as a family member we were from the same neighborhood, about 90% of the time i was at their home playing,riding our bikes, I miss those days with the Castaneda Family which i never forget them, God Bless.
