Olegario Naranjo Trevino, 81, of Los Fresnos, TX, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered eternal rest on June 27, 2024 at his home in Los Fresnos surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Mexico on March 2, 1943.
A talented lifetime musician with great creativity. Loved life, his children, and the broad family. A well-known artist, music teacher with a strong personality and direct views of life.
He is preceded in death by his spouse Betty Vasquez, parents Guadalupe Trevino and Juan Naranjo, aunt and uncle Lazara Naranjo and Pedro Naranjo, ex-spouse Esperanza Correa Trevino, and his step son Richard Carr.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Lita Naranjo, Irma Aguayo Flores, Ruben Naranjo, Oly Trevino, Rene Trevino, Mayra Padilla; stepchildren Melissa Lucio, Sonya Alvarez, Diana Cerda; siblings Tomasa Naranjo, Mark Maldonado, Eva Trevino, Esmeralda, Juan, Ancelmo, Silvia, Ovidio, Odilia Naranjo; other family Gloria Balderas, Alma Naranjo, Maribel Naranjo, Pedro Naranjo, Ana Naranjo, Arminda Naranjo, Norma Naranjo, Elvia, Juanita, Luis, David, and Noemi Naranjo; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life from 4:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 2, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
