Alicia Serrata, 52, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Valley Baptist Medical Center- Brownsville surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 14, 1972, in Brownsville, TX.
She is preceded in death by her father Hector M. Serrata; and her grandparents Herlinda Serrata, Arturo Serrata, Maria F. Cavazos and Jesus N. Cavazos.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother Carmen Serrata; her sister Linda Serrata; her nieces Madelynn Rodriguez and Camille Rodriguez; her nephew Ari Rodriguez; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 02, 2024 with recitation of The Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 03, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, with a Chapel Service at 9:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
