Enriqueta Lambert Garcia, 85, of Brownsville,Texas, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered eternal rest on Friday, May 24, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 27, 1939, in Brownsville, TX.
Her journey has just begun. Think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears. In a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years and think of her living in the hearts of those she touched for nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved so much.
Isaiah 41:10
So do no fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
She is preceded in death by her parents Enrique Lambert and Carmen Paz Lambert; her brothers and sisters Antonio Lambert and Guadalupe Lambert, Elvira Maldonado and Estela Sierra.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years Santiago Garcia; her son Rolando Garcia, daughter Irasema Garcia, daughter Josie Gonzalez (Orlando Gonzalez); daughter Ana Patricia Nuñez (Juan Nuñez), daughter Sonia Garcia (Omar Garcia); 8 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed.
Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024, with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, with a Chapel Service at 10:00 a.m. and interment will follow at San Pedro Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
