Eduardo “Lalo” Hinojosa is rejoicing on the streets of gold! He was Welcomed Home on June 3rd, 2024 at 12:52am at Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX, after 81 years of living a life of serving our Lord & Savior beside his beloved wife of 58 years, Maria S. Hinojosa.
He was born in San Fernando, MX on March 22, 1943 to the late Joaquin Hinojosa & Ana Dominga Gracia Hinojosa.
He was a loving & devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Maria S. Hinojosa; brother, Conrado Hinojosa (Ester); son, Eduardo Hinojosa Jr “Eddie” (Susan); son, David Hinojosa; daughter, Ana Alicia Hinojosa; 4 grandchildren, Christopher Jordan (Lauren), David Andrew, Bertha Roet, Jesus Gilberto: 2 great-grandchildren, Beau and Benny; and nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Ana Dominga Gracia Hinojosa; father Joaquin Hinojosa; brothers, Joaquin, Guadalupe, Manuel, Francisco; sisters, Maria and Dolores.
Lalo lived a life full of love and laughter. He was a kind man of God always willing to help someone in need. His faith was a gleaming example to all who came in contact with him, and he made sure to share word of encouragement. His joy and positive outlook on the future was contagious.
His work with youth, at Iglesia Menonita del Cordero, made a lasting impact on the barrio, that surpasses the streets of Southmost. His vision and legacy, at his church New Life Christian Center in San Benito, TX, will live on through many.
Lalo will forever be remembered with many stories of laughter, barbequing, and playing volleyball. He made a great impact and influenced many to be a better version of themselves and serve God with their entire lives.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10th, 2024, with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services conclude at the end of the evening.

To the family of hinojosa. My he rest in peace.we grew up in the the same neighborhood. he is now celebrating with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Good man.
Pastor Lalo is an ambassador of what Christian faith is. He was a father figure for me and my family forever will be remembered in our hearts and cherished.
