David Leal Lopez, 65, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted father, son, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on February 14, 1959.
David served in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed painting and playing guitar. He was the life of the party. He will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his father Isabel Lopez and his mother Maria Guadalupe Lopez; his brothers Gilbert Lopez, Jesse Lopez, and Robert Lopez; and his sisters Sandra Lopez and Elizabeth Lopez.
Left to cherish his memory are his children David Lopez Jr., Danny Lopez, and Priscilla Dominguez; and his siblings Juanita Lopez, Martin Lopez, Lucio Lopez, Dora Lopez, and Rosemary Lopez.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024 with Military Honors service at 5:00 p.m. and with recitation of The Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services conclude at the end of the evening.
