Jose Maldonado Jr. of Brownsville, Texas, devoted Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend, entered into eternal rest on April 17, 2024.
He was born and raised in Brownsville on January 9, 1968.
He is preceded in death by his Maternal and Paternal Grandparents; and his niece Lilyanna Rose Maldonado.
Left to cherish his memory are his Parents Jose and Olga Maldonado; his Siblings Norma (Luis) Ybarra, Nora Maldonado, Nancy (Raul) Beltran, Javier Maldonado and Jaime (Holly) Maldonado; his Nephews Andrew Garcia, Mathew Garcia, Joshua Garcia, Jacob Maldonado, Luis Ybarra Jr., Lazaro Jose Ybarra, Dominic Beltran, Joseph Beltran, Javier Alejandro Maldonado, and Jaime Maldonado Jr.; his Nieces Nereida Ybarra, Nelda Ybarra, Christalinda Beltran, Katelynn Maldonado and Izabellah Maldonado; his Great-Nephew Jose Garcia; and his Great-Nieces Adrianne Garcia, Natalia Garcia, Nayeli Aviles and Lucia Sandoval.
He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024 with recitation of The Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The Mass of Resurrection is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at Lord of Divine Mercy Catholic Church and interment to follow at 11:00 a.m. to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
