I meet Gus back in the “60 while working at a Brownsville men’s store; we became instant friends; he was that kind of guy. I stayed in touch with him during his career until I left the Valley. He was a good friend and great guy. Rest in peace old Friend. My condolences to Frances and the Family.

Mark, myself and our two sons, Charles and Kenneth, send our deepest condolences to the entire Reyna Family. Gus and Francis and the girls were truly an extended part of my family and my childhood memories will forever include all the Reyna Family and the Garza family.
The families’ love extended in my adulthood and Gus always asked for Mark and both of my sons, and of course my parents and siblings when I visited with him when shopping.
I share in the heartbreak of losing such a special man as do my mother, Medora Garza, and all my siblings.
May He Rest in Peace. I know he and my Dad are hugging, visiting, and laughing together again in Heaven.
Thank you Lord for them both and helping them be the true men of our loving homes!
    Well done, faithful servants.
