Miss Martínez. Thats the name I remember calling the lunch lady when I was in elementary some 15 years ago. At the time those were the only words my young mind could put together to describe her but looking back now that I am 27 years old words are not enough to describe her.

    – Always having a smile on her face despite of the day or time of day. Showing to everyone and myself that sharing a smile goes a long way.
    – This one time in particular she even handed me a full candy bag out of the blue during lunch and said “Here you go, share it with your friends and enjoy it. Looking back obviously there was not enough for everyone so she didn’t want other kids to feel left out. I remember coming back to the lunch table as a king and when asked where I got the candy I just smiled and said “Enjoy guys!” Truly a person showing Gods love in everything she did.
