Ana Quintero

Ana Quintero, 87, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Mexico on May 12, 1936.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Inocencio Duarte and Maria Candelaria Gomez; her two brothers Daniel Duarte and Raul Duarte; and her sisters Maria Duarte de Soto, Elia Duarte de Cruz, and Nora Ruth Duarte de Cabello.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Elias Quintero Borrego; her children Nancy E. Cabello (Jose A. Cabello), Ani Quintero, Elias Quintero Jr. (Alma L. Quintero), Eliazar Quintero, Jose Luis Quintero (Adriana Quintero), Yesenia Garcia (Juan L. Garcia), Francisco Quintero (Elizabeth Quintero) and Nilda Quintero; and her twenty-five grandchildren ; and 5 great-grandchildren; and her sisters Benita Duarte, Dilia Duarte, and Yolanda Duarte; and her brothers Inocencio Duarte, Claudio Duarte and Ricardo Duarte and Ismael Duarte (Blanca Estela Bustamante) and their daughter Gabriela Duarte Bustamante;

Services will be held at Sinai Living Stone Church AG located at 3797 Old Highway 77, Brownsville, TX 78520 on Monday, February 12, 2024. Visitation is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. with prayer services starting at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.  Prayer services continue the following day Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Sinai Living Stone Church AG and interment is to follow at 3:00 p.m. to Buena Vista Burial Park.
