Alberto Muñoz

Alberto Muñoz, 49, of Brownsville, Tx., devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, entered into the glory of his eternal rest on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Brownsville, TX, on October 15, 1974. 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Aracely Cantu; his children, Anthony Joseph Muñoz, Nickolas Alberto Muñoz, Angelo Julius Muñoz, Johnathan Alberto Muñoz, Alberto Muñoz Jr., Andrew Alberto Muñoz, Alyna Alyssa Muñoz; granddaughter, Joseline Ureli Muñoz; parents, Ruben Muñoz and Maria F. Rodriguez; brother, Daniel Muñoz and sisters, Jessica Muñoz Atkinson and Margie Ybarra; nieces, Tiffanie Muñoz and Valerie Atkinson; and his nephew Frankie Atkinson.

Alberto loved his wife and his beautiful kids.  He loved going fishing and enjoyed cooking for everyone.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at cookouts.  He never hesitated to help anyone in need.  He will be remembered for his beautiful smile and his big heart.

Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 03, 2024, with the recitation of The Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
