Ramiro Miranda, 70, of Brownsville, TX, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 25, 2023, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, TX surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Mexico on April 9, 1953.

He is preceded in death by his parents Soledad Govea Torres and Pablo Miranda Denes; and a sister Angelina Alvarez.

Left to cherish his memory is his former spouse Marciala Miranda; his children Jesus Manuel Miranda (Diana Acres), Marco Antonio Miranda (Blanca Miranda), Esmeralda Campos (Adrian Campos), Rubi Miranda, Ramiro Miranda Jr.  (Griselda Martinez), Ruben Miranda (Jesus Villafranca); his grandchildren Ruby Janelle Miranda, Jesus Manuel Miranda, Alexis Vianney Miranda, Odalyss Miranda, Marco Antonio Miranda II, Ricardo Gonzalez Jr., Ashley Miranda Campos, Adrian Campos Jr., John Jeff Campos, Allison Lizeth Miranda, Damien Accell Miranda, Miah Alyza Miranda, and Melissa Miranda, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2023, with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues Friday, December 29, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m..  The chapel opens at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023, with a Chapel Service at 12:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment to follow at 1:00 p.m. to Guillen Community Cemetery.  Pallbearers for Mr. Miranda will be Jesus Manuel Miranda, Marco Antonio Miranda, Ramiro Miranda Jr., Ruben Gonzalez Jr., Adrian Campos, Adrian Campos Jr., and Jesus Villafranca.
