I want to offer my condolences to all the family of my cousin Carmen. I knew Carmen and her sister Guadalupe when they came back to Chicago to work to send support to their mother and sisters in Nuevo Laredo in the early 1950’s.
They were daughters of my father’s sister “Tia Maria.”
I remember they were both so nice and affectionate to all our family. I will always remember Carmen and Lupe.
My belief is that they have all been reunited in heaven where they will await us all. I will miss speaking to her on the phone. She would always close our conversation with, ” I love you all.” I going to miss hearing that.
So,…..”Prima Carmen, we love you too.” ” Vaya con dios.”
