Juana Carrasco de Ledezma, 90, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2023. She was born in Mexico on July 20, 1933.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Ledezma Aguilar; four sons Rafael Ledezma, Eduardo Ledezma, Fernando Ledezma, Andres Ledezma, Jose Ernesto Ledezma and two daughters Blanca Margarita Ledezma and Santos Gloria Ledezma.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Nora Peña, Isaac Ledezma Jr., Juan Carlos Ledezma, Reyna Coria, and Alberto Ledezma. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, 2023, with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. On Monday, December 18, 2023, a Chapel Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens at 1:00 p.m.

May you rest in peace I hope you lived your life to its fullest. You will leave a big empty space in my mom’s heart as she remained loyal to you until your last days even though I saw how she would be treated differently throughout my entire childhood as well as us her kids your grandchildren.
