Erineo Granado age 64 of Brownsville, TX entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 10, 2023, in the comfort of his home and with his loving family, after a brave 9-year battle with kidney cancer.

Erineo was born on December 2, 1959, to the late Jose R. Granado and Dora R. Granado. He worked and retired from Brownsville Public Utilities Board where he was a dedicated and respected employee for 32years.

 In addition to his parents Erineo was preceded in death by his brother Gabriel R. Granado, and his niece Shelby Granado.

Erineo is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Martinez-Granado; his three daughters, Amy Lee Granado (Fermin Jr.), Dora Jeanette Granado (Christopher), and Roxann Granado; His brothers Hector (Alma) Granado, Ricardo (Claudia) Granado, Jose Jr. (Diana) Granado, Rolando (Elisa) Granado and his sister Diana (Joel) Gutierrez; His five grandsons Matthew and Aaron Benavidez and CJ, Terell, and Sean Medina; and several nieces and nephews.

Erineo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He cherished spending time with the people he loved and never failed to make them laugh. Erineo was a true die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and a lover of speed as an avid drag racer (Granado Brothers Racing). He loved music and the outdoors, where he could often be found proudly working on his yard and cars. Erineo Granado will be dearly missed by those who love him and will forever be remembered for his kindness and strength.

Visitation is scheduled from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services conclude at the end of the evening.
