On November 30, 2023, Maria G. Sanchez from Brownsville, TX passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was 86 years old. Devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Lupe was the mother of four children and two grandchildren that she raised.
Lupe loved to cook for her family. She loved dancing and was always listening to her música norteña.
Lupe is survived by her husband of 64 years Juan A. Sanchez and her sons Juan A. Sanchez Jr (Emma Sanchez), Gilberto Sanchez (Paula Sanchez), Raul Sanchez (Maria C. Sanchez), Victor Alanis and her daughters Maria D. Guevara (Jesus Guevara) and Norma Alanis (Miguel Hernandez).
She leaves behind sixteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren to cherish her memory.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 06, 2023, with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Services will continue on Thursday, December 7, 2023, with the visiting resuming from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Chapel funeral ceremony will be at 10:00a.m. Christian burial will follow at Buena Vista Burris’s Park.

My Condolences to her family in this difficult time. May she rest in peace. From her cousins in chicago illlinois Breatiza Saenz and Maria Hortencia Velez Frank and Alma Saenz Medina and there husbands and kids.
