Onesima D. Torres, 92, of Brownsville, TX, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, entered eternal rest on November 15, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mexico on February 28, 1931.
She is preceded in death by her devoted husband Donacio B. Torres †.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Maria Ramos (Manuel), Gabina Martinez (Elpidio †), Evaristo Torres (San Juana), Eusebia Rivera (Jacinto †), Maria G. Torres, Manuel Torres (Dominga), Alicia Gonzalez (Hector) and Gloria V. Magana (Miguel); and her grandchildren, Federico Guevara (Alejandra), Emmanuel Ramos, Jesus De Leon, Christopher Magana, Victoria Magana, Yesima Torres, Cosme De Jesus Torres, Tomas Torres (Yesenia), and many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services conclude at the end of the evening.

I would like to point out that left out me and my brother we are both grandchildren of doña onecima torres de leon we spent almost all our child with her.
