Pauline S. San Miguel, 78, of Brownsville, TX, went to be with the Lord and reunited with her husband in heaven on Saturday, September 30, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  Pauline was born on 2nd of May 1945 to Nieves Hernandez and Manuel Sheldon.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert R. San Miguel, and her parents, Nieves and Manuel Sheldon.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michelle (Manuel) Longoria, and James Albert (Rosell Marie) San Miguel; four grandchildren, Jesse James (Valeria )San Miguel, Megan (Javier) Lopez, Melanie Longoria, and Miranda Longoria; one great-grandson, Leonardo Lopez; six siblings, Geronimo Sheldon, Manuel Sheldon Jr., Edward Sheldon, Fredrick Sheldon, Rosie Sotelo, and Patricia Rivas.

Pauline was a devoted and hardworking wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed playing cards or Bunco with her 13 brothers and sisters, spending time with family and friends, and going to the “bailes” with her husband and “compadres”. Throughout her career as a realtor for more than 29 years, she found fulfillment in assisting and serving the community and clients in their search for the right place to call home. She was a truly dedicated, strong willed, overall wise mother and realtor who was a role model to many. She will be loved and missed by all who were fortunate to know her.

A celebration of life will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 04, 2023, with a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.

    Michelle my condolences to you and your family during this hard time. Your mother was an amazing women who truly loved her family. I have really nice memories of all us going out in a group and your parents joining us and having such a good time. These memories will always be cherished hope you know that she is still with you in spirit.
