Maria Eva Mercado, 80, of San Benito, TX, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, entered into eternal rest September 26, 2023, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen surrounded by her loving family. She was born in San Benito, TX on February 22, 1943.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter; Ramona (Luis) Ochoa; her grandchildren, Danielle Ruiz, Christopher (April Ortiz) Ochoa, , Luis Armando Ochoa, and Jason Ochoa; one great-granddaughter, Eva Ochoa.
Visitation is scheduled from 1PM to 8PM on Saturday, September 30, 2023, with a Prayer Service at
5PM. Services conclude at the end of the evening.
