Amelia Rodriguez Espinoza of Brownsville, TX, devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest on September 20, 2023, at Mesa Hills Nursing Home. She was born in Mexico on March 12, 1934.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan Rodriguez and Juana Lara, her daughter Maria Nora Espinoza, her grandsons Charles Espinoza and Mark Padron, her granddaughter Melissa J. Padron, her sister and brothers Irma Young, Oscar Rodriguez, and Jose Luis Rodriguez.
Left to cherish her memory is her sons; Enrique (Balvina) Espinoza Jr., Juan Espinoza, her daughters; Delma Mora and Minerva Padron, her granddaughter; Vanessa E. Bradley, and her grandsons; Hector Padron, Michael Padron, David Padron, and Johnathan Padron.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, between the hours of 1:00-8:00 p.m. with the recitation of The Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. On Wednesday, September 27, 2023, visitation continues at 8:00 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Immaculate Conception Cathedral followed by interment at Buena Vista Burial Park.
