Jesus Hugo Ramos, 69, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was Born in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico on December 19th, 1953.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Ramos; his mother, Isabel Ramos Flores; and his father Julian Ramos; brother Julian Ramos; and his sister Yolanda Couder.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Yolanda Ramos; his sons Hugo Alberto (Debra) Ramos and Alejandro (Talhia) Ramos; his nine grandchildren, Laiza, Ashley, Marcus, Tiffany, Itati, Humberto, Anthony, Alisson, and Alexander, and his seven siblings, Rodolfo, Jorge, Armando, Guadalupe, Irma, Christina, and Isabel.
Jesus was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He loved fishing and watching soccer games, especially his favorite team Cruz Azul. He enjoyed spending time with his family any chance he had. He will be greatly missed and will always be remembered.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 4, 2023, with the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, with a chapel service at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment is to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
