Jose Francisco Olmos, 83, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 30th,2023 at Mesa Hills Rehab Center surrounded by his loving family. He was Born in Durango, Mexico on July 19th, 1941.
He is preceded in death by his wife Maria Josefina Olmos.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Olga Vento (Javier), Franc Olmos (Abbey), Jaime Olmos (Rosaura), Laura Olmos (Frank), Javier Olmos (Nancy), and Patricia Olmos; his grandchildren Jacob, Ashley, Pricilla, Briana, Andrea, April, J.J., Gerardo, Alondra, Isaiah, Paulina, Patrick, and Carlo; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 4, 2023, with the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment is to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Buena Vista Burial Park.
