Dora Elia Luna, 86, of Brownsville, TX devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest Monday, August 21, 2023, at Valley Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mexico on November 02, 1936.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Maria Garza; her father, Genaro Lozano; her husband, Crispin Luna; her three brothers, Genaro Lozano, Gustavo Lozano, and Jose Lozano; and one sister, Alicia Lozano.
Left to cherish her memory are her six daughters, Dora Luz (Javier Rodriguez), Mary Cruz (Rene Sesma), Cristina (Humberto Villegas), and Elsa (Joe Baker), Luz Elena Luna, and Veronica (Rogelio Balli); her two sons, Crispin Luna (Angeles) and Jorge Luis Luna (Anel); her fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and her sister Maria Del Refugio Almaguer.
Visitation is scheduled from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. Services conclude at the end of the evening.
