Ronald John Barron, a beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather, was born on June 3, 1948, in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. He returned to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, July 28th, 2023, in Brownsville, Texas, where he was reunited with his parents Rose Pecsnek and Billy Jack Barron, as well as his brothers David Wallace (Mary†) Barron and Billy Jack Barron. He is survived by his sister Loretta (Roger†) Buckingham of Waldo, Ohio.

His wife Cheryl Kay Crist is left with precious memories of their life together. Ronald and Cheryl were High school sweethearts, met while both attending high school at Buckeye Valley Delaware, Ohio and were married for 56 years. Ron and Cheryl have two beautiful daughters Shannon Renée and Krista Michelle, each a reflection of their kindness and warmth.

Ronald passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, daughter Shannon Renée (Jesus) Rivas, and granddaughters Andrea Renée, Isabella Sofia & Marianna Nicole of Brownsville, Texas; Also, daughter Krista Michelle (David †) Barron-Saldana, grandchildren Jagger Barron Saldana, Nicholas Francis Rendon, Hunter Alexander Rendon, and Zarah Anasztázia Luvina Rendon of Brownsville, Texas. Also survived by nephew David Jack (Nicole) Barron and two daughters Cass and Caitlyn of Marion, Ohio.

Ronald, affectionately known as Ronnie, or Ron was more than just a beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather, he was the heart and soul of our family. He had many hobbies including working on classic cars, golfing, riding his Harley Davison and spending time outside watching his grandchildren play. Their presence in his life brought him much happiness.

During this difficult time, the family expresses gratitude to the many relatives and friends, from Ohio, West Virginia, and Texas, for their prayers and support.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Brownsville animal defense or Sunshine Haven Olmito, Texas in the name of Ronald John Barron.
