Virginia Campos, 54, of Brownsville TX, devoted mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, daughter, and friend, entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brownsville, TX on April 28, 1969.
She is preceded in death by her father Felipe Campos Gomez; mother, Marina Campos Gonzalez; and 1 sister, Maria Magdalena Campos Gonzalez.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Briana Alvarez; her grandchildren, Alicia Gonzalez, and Alexandria Alvarez; and her 4 sisters, Imelda (Robert) Reyes, Irene (Toño) Ortiz, Marina (Albert) Marquez, Delfina (Jaime) Aldape; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1PM to 8PM with a Prayer Service at 6PM on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 10 AM with a Mass of Resurrection at 2PM at San Eugenio de Mazenod Church and Interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM.
