Alfredo Barron

Passed in peace at the age of 95. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Margarita.

Loving father of Danny, Olga (Robert) and Al (Denise).

Proud grandfather of Daniel (Danny), Kevin (Olga), Felicity and Guy (Al).

Alfredo will be missed by his sister Lucia Carmona; he was preceded in death by his parents, Angelita L. and Luis Barron, his sister Bertha and 5 brothers:  Luis, Daniel, Ramiro, Ricardo, and Roberto Barron.

Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Alfredo will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father, a hardworking office manager of a trucking company (over 40 years), a food connoisseur (barbecue artist & dessert enthusiast), humorist, sports enthusiast (watching the Dallas Cowboy games, UT Texas football games & Astro baseball games with his son Danny, as well as watching boxing matches), a champion of social consciousness, proud patriot, and US Army Airforce veteran.  As a young man, he took pride in his military service. He liked keeping track of weather forecasts to forewarn family and friends of approaching thunderstorms. Alfredo was also thoroughly interested in politics and religion and enjoyed watching politicians act like preachers.

He was someone who had a firm understanding of what was important — the simplicity of living a life with those you love. He thoroughly enjoyed vacation trips to Las Vegas (especially playing penny slots) and San Francisco (sight-seeing, appreciating artwork exhibitions and as a food connoisseur with his daughter and her family.

Of all the people he touched, both willing and unwilling, his most proud achievement in life was marrying his wife Margarita who supported him in all his glory during his heyday, and lovingly supported each other physically during their last days together.
