Alma Delia Perales, 35, of Brownsville, TX, devoted wife, mother, sister, niece, and friend, entered into eternal rest, Saturday, July 1st, 2023, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brownsville on April 26, 1988. Alma was fun, energetic, vibrant, and smart.
She is preceded in death by her father Marco Antonio Perales and her sister Samantha Olvera.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Thomas De La Rosa; her mother Blanca Trujillo; her stepfather Ventura Trujillo; her 1 daughter, Faith De La Rosa; 1 brother, Mario Olvera and 1 sister Anna D. Perales; her aunts and uncles Juan Manuel Reyes (Laura Reyes), Julie Reyes, Hijinio Reyes Jr. (Bianca Reyes), David Reyes (Yvonne Garza), Charlie Reyes (Astrid Reyes); her grandparents Hijinio and Juanita Reyes; niece and nephew Angela and Anthony Culvert.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, July 2, 2023, from 2PM to 8PM with a prayer service at 6PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services continue on Monday, July 3, 2023, from 12PM to 8PM with a prayer service at 6PM. The chapel opens at 12PM on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, with a Prayer Service scheduled at 4PM. Interment is to follow at 1PM to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, Texas.
