Hector Reyes, 61, of Brownsville Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest April 10, 2023 at Valley Baptist Medical Center – Harlingen surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas on April 26th 1961.
He is preceded in death by his father Hector Gerardo Reyes.
He is survived by his wife Ernestina Reyes; his children Hector Gerardo Reyes (Emma Reyes), Lyndi Reyes (Hugo Guillen), and Tanya Reyes; his 6 grandchildren; his mother, Juana Sierra Reyes; his 8 siblings, and multiple nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 12th, 2023, from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m., with a recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services conclude at the end of the evening.
