Juana Maria Gonzalez, 60, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, and friend entered into eternal rest on April 8, 2023, at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents Humberto Gonzalez and Sarah Gonzalez Sanchez; one sister Maria Guadalupe Mejia De La Cruz.
Left to cherish her memory is her children Oziel Julian Valdez and Niria Duran; siblings Paula Galindo, Rosalinda Villarreal, Patricia Robles, Carolina Gonzalez, Mercedes Gonzalez, and Benito Gonzalez.
Juana Maria Gonzalez, the bright light, daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother anyone could ask for. Anything and everything she did and had, was unique. Loved nature, explored the world when she had the change. She was very creative and could make beautiful floral arrangements. Always giving a helping hand and turning any situation into the most positive light. Found fun and joy in any setting.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 3PM to 8PM with a prayer service at 6PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
