Teodora C. Perez, 83, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend passed away on November 23, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Francisco Perez; parents Jesus Cadena and Rafaela Garza Cadena; children Rumaldo Perez, and Daniel Perez; siblings Martha P. Tovar, Maria P. Rendon, Virginia Valdez, and Carlos Cadena; grandchildren Omar Becerra and Oscar Becerra.
Left to cherish her memory is her children Josefa Garcia, Leonel Perez, and Maria R. Perez; siblings Armandina Treviño, Pedro Cadena, Octavio Cadena, Federico Cadena, Jesus Cadena, Juan Cadena, Robert Cadena, Raymundo Cadena, and Ernesto Cadena; grandchildren Dina Becerra, Carlos Becerra, Justin Salazar, and Leonel Perez Jr.; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, from 1PM to 8PM with a Talk at 7PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 9AM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with a chapel service to follow at 12PM. Interment will be at 1PM at Buena Vista Burial Park.
