Juan Rodolfo “Rudy” Aguirre, 43, of Brownsville, TX, devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2022, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville on May 21, 1979.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Jennifer Aguirre; his two wonderful daughters, whom he adored and were the sunlight of his universe, Katelyn and Kassilyn Aguirre; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Rudy, a proud middle school teacher and a lifelong learner, was a God-fearing man who radiated faith and peace in every area of his life. Rudy, who enjoyed education, earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Brownsville and a double Masters from Lamar University. Although Rudy was faced with battling brain cancer courageously, he had the most positive outlook on life. His contagious uplifting attitude has left a lasting impression on the many students, colleagues, and people that crossed his path.
Rudy passionately collected all kinds of memorabilia when he wasn’t teaching and sponsoring school clubs. He also enjoyed traveling, fishing, and adventuring with his beautiful family.
Visitation with family will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 2PM-5PM with a service at 3PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
