On Wednesday, October 19, 2022, Teodoro Sanchez passed away at the age of 89. He was born on March 24, 1933, in El Ranchito, Texas.
Teodoro was preceded in death by his sister, Maria Del Carmen Sanchez-Sanchez, and a son Reosvaldo Sanchez. He is survived by his wife Edelmira Guzman Sanchez; children Maria Elena Perez, Teodoro Sanchez Jr., Carmen Hinojosa, and Marisol Sanchez; brothers/sisters Francisca Sanchez Villarreal, Angelita Sanchez Ramirez, and Oscar Sanchez. 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral services, located at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (657 Springmart Blvd. in Brownsville, TX 78526), are as follows: On Sunday, October 23, 2022, visitation will begin at 1PM and conclude at 8PM with a Chapel Service at 6 PM. On Monday, October 24, 2022, the visitation continues at 8AM with a chapel service at 10AM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 11:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park. Serving as his pallbearers will be Teodoro Sanchez III, Manuel Hinojosa III, Alfonso Villarreal III, Elio Sanchez, Daniel Sanchez, and Reosvaldo Sanchez Jr. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, Texas.
