Yolanda Hernandez, 68, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend entered into eternal rest on October 6, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Jose Luis Hernandez Vega; children Jose Luis Hernandez Jr., Janet Hernandez (Rosendo Barrios), and Crystal Salas; grandchildren Enrique, Tony, Jaquelyn, Johanna, Miguel, Jezebel, Janiya, Jozelynn, Jiselle, and Julian; great-grandchildren Jazlynn and Jionni; siblings Juan Jose Guadiana, Hector Guadiana, Marcela Guadiana, and Sergio Guadiana; also surviving numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 1PM to 8PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues Monday, October 10, 2022, at 8AM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass will follow at 10AM at San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church. Interment will be at 11AM at Guillen Community Cemetery. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, Texas.
