Raquel A. De La Cruz De Gomez, 64, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on September 23, 2022, at Ebony Lake Healthcare Center in Brownsville, Texas surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Edmundo Gomez and brothers Arnoldo Lee, Jose de la Cruz and Jose Maria de la Cruz.
Left to cherish her memory is her children: Raquel Oneida, Gabriela Gomez (Abraham Gomez), Edmundo Gomez Jr. (Nancy Gomez), David A. Gomez (Taide Gomez), Kevin Gomez (Genesis Gomez), 15 grandchildren; Abigail Perez, Luis Perez, Emily Gomez, Alexis Perez, Edmundo Gomez III, Gabriela Gomez, David A Gomez Jr., Destiny Gomez, Abraham Perez, Esther A. Gomez, Eileen Y. Gomez, Sophia Perez, Edan E. Gomez, Raquel Gomez, and Anna Gomez; siblings Lydia de la Cruz, Pedro de la Cruz, Juan de la Cruz, Paulina de la Cruz, Enrique de la Cruz, and Minerva de la Cruz.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 26, 2022, from 3PM to 9PM with a Prayer Service at 6PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services conclude at the end of the evening.
