Irma G. Maldonado, 86, of Immokalee, Florida, devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on September 23, 2022, at Immokalee, Florida, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico on March 16, 1936.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Diego Garza Gomez, and Olivia Trevino Longoria; spouse Jose Idelio Maldonado; and her son Miguel Maldonado.
Left to cherish her memory is her children; Socorro Maldonado Alvarado, Virginia Guerrero (Alberto), Irma Campos (Valentine), Olivia Rangel (Hilario), Idelio Maldonado Jr., Martin Maldonado (Juana), Hector Maldonado, Chris Maldonado (Diana), Manuel Maldonado, Guadalupe Maldonado (Margarita), Ofelia Rodriguez (Federico), Maria Juanita Alcantar (David), and Juan Carlos Maldonado (Rosa); 52 grandchildren; 77 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 1PM to 8PM, with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 12:00 PM, with a Funeral Mass at Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 2:00 PM. Interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park at 3PM.
