Carlos Longoria Perez

Carlos Longoria Perez, 60, of Brownsville, TX, devoted father, brother, uncle, and friend entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 17 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, MX on October 09, 1961.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rodolfo Longoria Sr.; and his brother, Javier Longoria Perez.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Lenny Guzman and her husband who was like a son to him, Luis Guzman; his mother, Ruth Longoria Perez; three siblings, Noe Longoria, Norma Valdez, and Rodolfo Longoria.

He enjoyed music and playing his instruments, particularly his guitar. He enjoyed quality time with his family and chatting until the break of dawn.  He was very proud to have worked for 30 over years at TelMex in Mexico. He worked for the Human Resources Department and served ex-Secretario General Secc-35.  He enjoyed retirement at the age of 50 years old. His greatest loves were his daughter Lenny and his mother Ruth.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will follow at 2:00 p.m. being celebrated at Lord of Divine Mercy. Services will conclude at the end of the afternoon.
