Irma De Leon Perez, 73, of Brownsville, Texas devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away on July 3, 2022, at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville.
She is preceded in death by her parents Porfirio and Berta De Leon.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Indalecio Perez Sr.; four children Steve (Gloria), Indalecio Jr (Enedina), Iliana, and Andres Arturo (Julia); grandchildren Jesse Robert, Jonathan, Jesus Antonio, Bridyit, Geraldine, Joshua Allen, Alex, Angel, Damian, Ivy, Gabriel, and Hector; great-grandchildren Aurora Grace Tavares and Noah Azriel Tavares; her brothers and sister Sergio (Alex), Raul, Alma (Luis), Porfirio (Mary), and Eduardo (Melissa).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 1PM to 8PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues Wednesday, July 6, 2022, from 1PM to 8PM with a Talk at 6PM. Services will conclude at the end of the evening. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop.

My deepest condolences to the Perez family. Keeping you in heart and prayer. Mrs. Irma Perez was a very beautiful loving women. She will be missed and loved always. The Cerda family had the honor and privilege to know Mrs. Perez for many years. Every time we would talk or see Mrs. Perez it was a very pleasant time.
