Laura Juarez

Laura Juarez (40), entered into eternal rest on June 25, 2022, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, TX. Through thoughts, prayers, and presence, Laura was surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Flores, whom Laura greatly loved.

Laura lived in the Rio Grande Valley, Austin, and San Antonio. In these cities, Laura forged many relationships that led her to be a devoted mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. She was a graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education and her Texas Educator Certificate (Early Childhood – 6th Grade). Laura enjoyed spending time with her children, swimming at the beach, roller coasters, dancing, cooking, gardening, and living life. 

Laura was a loving mother of two amazing boys—Christian Fitzgerald Noboa II (18) and Christopher Fitzgerald Noboa (13)—whom she adored. Also left to cherish her memory are her father Antonio Juarez (Bea Lopez Juarez); siblings Antoinette Lindon (James Lindon) and Antonio Xavier Juarez (Rebecca Juarez); and many friends and family. 

Visitation with family will be held from 5 PM to 8 PM, on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with a Memorial Service and the recitation of the Holy Rosary being held at 7 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Our Lord of Good Counsel Catholic Church.  Inurnment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Those who know Laura, know she would want you to remember and celebrate her life in your own way. Whether from afar or in-person, join us at the times above.
