Lester Robin Shears, 47, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted father, brother, and friend entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on December 22, 1974.
He is preceded in death by his mother Martha Coronado; stepfather Santos Coronado, and his father Guillermo Garza.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Krystal Renae Shears, Kameron Marcus Shears, Kourtney Robin Shears; the mother of his children Melissa Lopez; siblings Lee Roy Shears (Lilly), Mark Shears (Jeana), Fred Shears, and Marc Garza, Willie Garza , Brenda Garza, Ishelle Fernandez, Mari Garza; father in law Epitacio Lopez; mother in law Elizabeth Lopez; sister in law Elva Lopez-Gonzalez (Luis); brother in law Marco Lopez; nieces and nephews Samantha Shears, Stephanie Shears, Lyric Shears, Zoe Shears, Mark Shears Jr., Mathew Shears, Lexi Shears, Christian Shears, Savannah Shears, Adam Gomez, Dominic Garza, Marc Garza Jr., Isla Gonzalez, and Joshua Lopez. Also various Great Aunts and Uncles.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022, from 1PM to 8PM with a prayer service and eulogy at 6:30PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop.
