Javier Gonzalez Roel, 78, of Brownsville, TX devoted husband, uncle, and friend entered into eternal rest on June 23, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents Jose Roel Martinez and Maria Ambrosia Gonzalez.
Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Jose Roel, Dora Roel, and Saul Roel, nieces and nephews; Alma Rodriguez, Mayra Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, Joey Roel, Seneca Roel and Donny Roel.
Visitation will be held from 1 PM to 8 PM on Friday, June 24, 2022, with a Talk at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. On Saturday, June 25, 2022, the chapel will open at 10:00AM with a chapel service at 12PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment to follow at La Palma Cemetery at 1PM. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop.
