Jose Juan Colorado, 68, entered into eternal rest on June 10, 2022. Jose was born on October 05, 1953, in Brownsville, Texas to Martha and Thomas Colorado.
An avid Dallas cowboys fan, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be remembered for his fun personality, jokester, and great sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be missed and loved by all who had the honor of knowing him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Thomas Colorado; four siblings, Ramon, Amelia, Loly, Tommy and Mary.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Rosie Colorado; six children [all boys], Eric (Marie) Colorado, John (Amanda) Colorado, Kerry, Michael (Joann) Colorado, Jake (Leslie) Colorado and Kevin (Cristina) Colorado; siblings, Jesus Colorado and Carlos Paul (Sylvia) Colorado; fourteen grandchildren, Victoria, Eric Jr., Adriana, Sophia, Juan Pablo, Austin, Ayden, Damien, Abbygail, J.R., N.L., Maria, Megan, Camille and soon to come Adalynn.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 657 Springmart Blvd, Brownsville, TX. (956) 350-8485. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
