Elvia Garcia, 54, of Brownsville, TX, devoted mother, grandmother, and friend entered into eternal rest on May 30, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Estanislado and Modesta Garcia. three brothers; Mario Garcia, Estanislado Garcia Jr., Ruben Garcia, her four sisters; Gregoria Casas, Yolanda Garcia, Rita Garcia, and San Juanita Raya.
Left to cherish her memory are her four children; Maria Modesta Blanco, Mary Lou Garcia, Steven Lee Garcia, and Roberto Garcia, and nine grandchildren, two sisters; Mary Guerrero and Irma Juarez, four brothers; Joe Garcia, Roberto Garcia, Gilberto Garcia, and Ernesto Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022, from 12PM to 8PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 8AM. Interment will be at 11AM at Guillen Community Cemetery. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop.
