Carmen Castillo Tirado, 65, of Los Fresnos, Texas, devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend entered into eternal rest on May 24, 2022, at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Juan Castillo, and Zenaida Reyes; sister Anita Castillo; brothers Alfredo Castillo, Juan Castillo Jr.; son Sirrilo Hernandez Jr.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Jose Mariano Tirado; children Juan Carlos Hernandez (Mary Ellen), Jimmy Hernandez, Cynthia Hernandez (Refugio Miranda), and Jose Emmanuel Hernandez; daughter-in-law Nora Hilda Hernandez; grandchildren Bryan Lee, Isaac, Isai, Sandy, Matthew, Christopher, Emily Rose, Nayeli, Santiago, Brianna, Sebastian, Paulina, Cristian, and Josue Manuel; siblings Sandra Castillo, Linda Castillo, Laura Castillo; Pastor Jose Angel Cruz.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 1PM to 8PM with a prayer service at 6PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues Friday, May 27, 2022, at 8AM with a chapel service at 10AM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 11AM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Isaac Hernandez, Isai Hernandez, Juan Carlos Hernandez, Jimmy Hernandez, Josue Hernandez, and Matthew Hernandez.

I want to thank every single person that came out to support our family,, to my best friends that were here for me Claudia and Maribel, and Aracely, it would have been harder with out you all. To my sister in laws that were there every step of the way. We had sleepless nights but never did they complain. May the lord bless you more.
